One fitness babe has revealed why it’s important to not be afraid of food when you’re on a weight loss journey.
Loz Fitness, who has over 41,000 Instagram followers, told fans that increasing your calories shouldn’t be something you’re afraid of.
Posting to her legion of fans, she wrote: “An increase in your daily calorie intake may cause fat loss!
“Binges no longer happen as you’re not being so restrictive so food intake is actually lower.”
The influencer explained a number of reasons why upping your food intake can help with your fitness journey.
She added: “It can gain muscle more easily, which increases metabolism/BMR. Training can be given more energy.
“More energy overall, therefore more energy is burned through walking, cooking etc.
“But, for a lot of people, fat loss is not the goal.”
She claimed that those who are unhappy with how they look will need to be happy and accept their body.
Loz continued: “Stop chasing those unhealthy weight loss goals and appreciate that you are on your own journey.
“Your goal does not have to be to lose fat or weight.”
